Terms of service

These terms cover your use of the Handled website and our work with you when we design and build your site. The point is that everything is clear from the start.

Prices and offers

Prices on the site are "from" prices. The final price is agreed in a written quote, on WhatsApp or by email, before we start. Any offer on the site has its own period and conditions written with it.

Starting work and payment

Work starts once we've agreed in writing on the package, price, timeline and payment method. You pay according to that agreement, with no costs popping up halfway. If you want something outside the package, we tell you the cost first and you decide.

Content you send

Photos, text and logos you send us must be yours to use. We use them for your site only.

Changes

We send you a version to try and make changes on your notes within the agreed package. Big changes that alter the agreement (extra pages or new features) are quoted before we make them.

Ownership

Once you've paid in full, your site and its content are yours, and the domain is registered in your name. We may show the site as part of our work unless you ask us not to.

Domain, hosting and renewal

If your package includes the domain and hosting for the first year, renewing them afterwards is yours, at a cost we tell you upfront and remind you of before it's due. If renewal is late, the site may go offline until it's renewed.

After launch

We keep an eye on the site and fix any technical problem in our work. Regular content changes depend on your package.

What we're responsible for

We build the best site we can, but we don't guarantee a specific result such as a Google ranking or a number of customers. We aren't responsible for outages in services outside our control, such as hosting companies, Google or WhatsApp, and we help you sort them out if they happen.

If you want to stop

If you decide to stop before delivery, we agree on payment for the work done up to that point.

Law

These terms are governed by Egyptian law. If there's ever a disagreement, we try to settle it by talking first.
